Get Involved – Volunteer or Donate
You can get involved with Snow Angels by volunteering with us or by donating.
Volunteering
We are always keen to hear from you if you would like to get involved as a volunteer. Our volunteers provide vital support to older people and people with disabilities who are living in their own homes. We have a number of volunteering roles including telephone and face to face befriending, practical support such as dog walking, help with technology etc and transport to and from our Tuesday cafe. We also support patients discharged from hospital as part of our hospital discharge service. We keep in touch with all our service users regularly to make sure that they are well and to check if they need any support.
Volunteers are available at different times and we do not require a set number of hours per week. We will ask you what type of support you are able to offer and for befriending, we will try to match volunteers to our clients where possible in terms of interests etc.

Donations
As a social enterprise (a not for profit organisation), we want to work with people and organisations to help to further support older and vulnerable people.
Donation Form
What is my donation spent on?
Donations enable us to provide additional support to the key services we offer and to support our volunteers. Donations are not used for staffing or overhead costs.
